UNC Nephrology - UNC Hospitals Outpatient Center at Eastowne
Our mission is to improve the health and lives of patients with kidney disease, and ultimately to find cures for those diseases. Our integrated team of nephrologists, nurse practitioners, clinic nurses and CMAs, nurse coordinators, dialysis nurses, patient care and dialysis technicians, and renal dietitians provide care for patients with a variety of kidney diseases. We offer comprehensive clinical services that are professional and educational in a warm and friendly environment that nurtures relationships lasting a lifetime with our patients. We provide care for pediatric and adult patients, patients in need of a kidney transplant, and patients with specific conditions like anemia, acute kidney failure, chronic kidney disease, and hypertension. We also have combined clinics with other specialties to manage chronic and complex conditions like glomerular disease and kidney stones. We also provide cutting-edge research and innovative training programs in nephrology.
We strive to deliver personalized, educational, and preventive services that provide long-term solutions for the patients we care for that are convenient to the communities where they live and work. In addition to our Eastowne location, patients can be seen at Panther Creek on McCrimmon Parkway in Cary, Burlington Specialty Clinic on Garden Road in Burlington, and the Sanford Specialty Clinic on Central Drive in Sanford.
