ALS Programs Class Fees
These fees apply to persons who are not employees of UNCH or affiliates. UNCH staff should consult LMS for class fees. Fees do not include any required text or online component.
Fees for various class offerings are listed below.

AHA Classes
Fees are for the class only. Every student attending an AHA provider class must have a copyright 2015 or later provider textbook for the class. We require students to have the textbook no less than 24 hours prior to class. We have a limited number of books to loan to paid enrollees.

AHA Instructor Classes
Instructor Course - Any discipline - $500
This is for the course only. Every instructor must complete the AHA Online Essentials course for your chosen instructor discipline and purchase both a provider and instructor manual for the discipline.
AHA Training Center Fees
Training Center fees are for those AHA instructors who wish to align with the UNC Training Center.
- Training Center Alignment Transfer Fee: $150
- Annual Training Center Fee: $50
Candidates who complete our instructor trainer program may apply for membership with our Training Center. Please note that alignment is not guaranteed.
*In order to complete AHA instructor candidate requirements, instructors must be aligned with a Training Center. If you are not currently aligned with a Training Center, you will receive a letter of completion at the conclusion of the Instructor Course. Present the certificate of completion to the Training Center and they will complete your instructor candidate requirements.
