There are a variety of dining options available to you during your stay at UNC Hospitals. All cafe's are cashless.
Restaurant Delivery
Patients may order meals directly to their rooms using our Restaurant Delivery service. We offer our full menu between 6:00 AM - 8:00 PM.
If you are on a special diet (for medical reasons), you will be provided with food choices that meet the specific dietary guidelines set by your doctor. Our staff of Clinical Dietitians is also available to provide nutritional education and information.
Guest Trays are available for visitors who wish to dine with a patient in their room. Trays are $8.60 and can be purchased by contacting 984-974-1278.
Starbucks
Starbucks is located off the lobby of the N.C. Cancer Hospital.
Open 24 hours a day, Starbucks serves an assortment of coffees, teas, pastries, sandwiches and more.
Overlook Café
Located on the 2nd floor hallway connecting the N.C. Neurosciences Hospital with the N.C. Cancer Hospital, the Overlook Café offers several dining options in a café setting.
Featured stations include:
- Grab-N-Go: wide selection of grab and go items
- Fire Baked Pizza - 3 different sauces and your choice of up to 4 toppings
- Kardia - Mediterranean Items available
The Overlook Café is open Monday-Friday from 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
Terrace Café
Located on the first floor terrace of the N.C. Children’s Hospital the Terrace Café offers multiple dining options in a café setting.
Featured stations include:
- Fast Breaks - Serving fresh, grab and go sandwiches, gourmet soups, salads, healthy snacks and desserts.
- Continental Traders - Serving a variety of meal selections including BBQ, fried or rotisserie chicken, Dot’s famous BBQ, macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes and more.
- Soups - Soups change daily
- Flat Iron Grill - Serving made-to-order omelets, pancakes, breakfast sandwiches, hamburgers, onion rings and more.
- Bandaleros: Nachos, Burritos, and Burrito Bowls
The Terrace Café is open daily from 6:30 AM- 9:00 PM.
Corner Café
Located on the ground floor of the N.C. Children’s Hospital (down the hallway past the kinetic sculpture), the Corner Café offers a variety of dining options.
Featured stations include:
- Boar's Head Sandwiches - Serving made-to-order subs and sandwiches.
- Hissho Sushi - Serving made-to-order sushi
The Corner Café is open Monday through Friday from 11:00 AM- 2:00 PM.
- Late Night Meals are available daily from 11:00 PM- 2:00 AM.
Courtyard Café
Located in the ACC Building, the Courtyard Café offers a variety of food, beverage and snack options for patients and visitor.
The Courtyard Café is open from 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM. Grill items available from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM.
