UNC Hospitals Central Outpatient Pharmacy
For your convenience, the UNC Hospitals Central Outpatient Pharmacy is available to fill your prescriptions before you are discharged from the hospital.
Just dial 984-974-2374 to have your prescriptions filled. You may also refill your prescriptions online.
The pharmacy is located on the ground floor of the N.C. Cancer Hospital.
Patients and family members may pick up prescriptions:
- Monday - Friday: 7 am - 8 pm
- Saturday - Sunday, Holidays: 8:30 am - 4 pm (Employee prescriptions and UNC Medical Center discharge and Emergency Department prescription services, only)

Specialty Pharmacy Services: The UNC Shared Services Center Pharmacy offers Specialty Pharmacy Services to help to increase the continuity of care and level of customer service you receive as a patient. These services include clinical support, financial services, prescription services and specialty medications.
A pharmacist is available 24-hours a day, seven days a week, to answer urgent clinical questions for patients receiving specialty medications.

The UNC Employee Pharmacy offers employees and immediate family members of UNC Health Care, UNC Faculty, and the School of Medicine convenient and comprehensive pharmacy services right here on the Medical Center campus.
The pharmacy is located on the ground floor of Memorial Hospital in the back of the Carolina Care at Home Convenience Center.
