Our Mission
The UNC Hospitals Office of Graduate Medical Education seeks to provide learner-centered service, to promote the development and operation of our outstanding residency and fellowship programs, and to support GME trainees, leadership, and accreditation.
Welcome to GME at UNC Hospitals!
Licensure, benefits, payroll, insurance and pagers are just a few areas that are administered through this office. The Office of Graduate Medical Education also supports our residency training programs in maintaining ACGME standards for accreditation.
The University of North Carolina Hospitals is a participating member of the National Resident Matching Program, Dental National Matching Service and other advanced residency matching programs.
