At UNC Health Mohs & Dermatologic Surgery we treat a variety of skin cancer conditions using a technique called Mohs surgery.
During Mohs surgery, skin cancers are removed from the body while surgeons preserve as much healthy tissue as possible. Tissue is removed in thin layers and examined under a microscope. The process continues until there are no signs of cancer.
Physician referrals are required to make an appointment. Please have your provider contact our office at 984-974-3685 with your diagnosis and insurance information. We require insurance information as a part of the initial patient referral information.
