UNC Benign Hematology - UNC Hospitals Outpatient Center at Eastowne
The UNC Benign Hematology clinic provides care for patients with a wide variety of non-malignant blood disorders. Common conditions seen include iron deficiency anemia, abnormal blood counts due to a variety of reasons, and venous thrombosis including deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism. The clinic also provides specialty services for patients with bleeding disorders, including hemophilia, as well as sickle cell anemia and hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia (HHT).
