Rotation Description:
The Analytics rotation is an elective learning experience at the UNC Medical Center. The learner works directly with the Pharmacy Analytics team, which is a service group within the Department of Pharmacy with a focus on positively impacting patient health outcomes and health care through data insight and analysis. This rotation is designed to give learners experience with the role of data analytics within clinical, operational, research, and financial areas through participation in projects and topic discussions. At the conclusion of the rotation with the analytics team, the learner is expected to understand pharmacy-related data and its role within the pharmacy enterprise as well as be confident in communicating and disseminating findings from data and reports.
