Rotation Description:
The UNC Liver Center is a hospital-based outpatient clinic for the management of liver diseases. The resident will conduct multi-disciplinary visits with the CPP to provide patient education, respond to drug information questions, and assist the providers and patients in overcoming barriers to medication procurement. Other activities will include projects pertaining to patient monitoring, clinic quality improvement and specialty pharmacy.
