Rotation Description:
This outpatient experience allows the learner to interact with patients who are diagnosed with a variety of solid tumors including prostate cancer, renal cell carcinoma, testicular cancer, and bladder cancer. The learner will have opportunities for direct patient care through patient education, medication therapy management, management of chemotherapy induced side effects and supportive care. The learner will also have the opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary team environment and work closely with physicians and advanced practice practitioners on drug information questions and treatment discussions.
