Rotation Description:
The purpose of a process improvement project is to improve a process within the pharmacy department. Often the process improvement project requires critical thinking to solve difficult problems, has operational challenges, and may require a multidisciplinary group for completion. The process may be clinical or operational. This project will allow for an opportunity to provide leadership within a team and ownership of a process. Projects may include but are not limited to: orderset revision, guideline update, workflow revision, medication use evaluation
