Rotation Description
Residents will develop expertise in the clinical management of medication-related issues for trauma and surgery patients within the critical care setting. In addition to fulfilling clinical staffing responsibilities—such as verifying medication orders, following up on therapeutic drug monitoring, and answering complex drug information questions—residents will actively participate in Code Blue responses and assist with other bedside emergencies (e.g., rapid sequence intubation, extracorporeal membrane oxygenation initiation, etc.).
