Rotation Description
This is a four-week rotation precepted by Drs. Ina Liu and Haley Rua focused on developing innovative and equitable pharmacy-driven programs under the Managed Pharmacy Solutions group. The resident will work alongside the preceptors to develop comprehensive programs that integrate pharmacy benefit management strategies and population health management interventions that improve health outcomes, provide a high-touch patient/member experience while lowering total cost of care, and learn about ways to measure outcomes of such programs. This rotation will also introduce the resident to key topics surrounding access to care including health equity, population health, managed care, health economics, and outcomes assessments.
