Rotation Description
This rotation is a year-long experience learning and applying healthcare financial management skills in an outpatient (retail) pharmacy setting. The resident will collaborate with the preceptor and pharmacy leader to understand financial management tools, strategies and processes that will be applicable in a variety of settings. The resident will actively participate in evaluations of monthly performance, variance investigation and annual budget planning (capital, labor and operational).
