Rotation Description
UNC Shared Services Center Pharmacy Supply Chain Management (SCM) is responsible for supporting pharmacy supply needs to UNC Healthcare entities through the integration of pharmacy purchasing, distribution, contracting, sourcing, and inventory management.
The purpose of this rotation is to expose residents and learners to key stakeholders in the pharmaceutical supply chain, the role of automation and technology in SCM, the role of Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs), key regulatory statues impacting SCM, and the 340B Drug Pricing Program.
