Multiple Myeloma and Amyloidosis Clinic
Rotation Description
The multiple myeloma/amyloidosis clinic is a 4 -week learning experience. The experience is designed to engage the resident in the role of clinical pharmacist practitioner within the myeloma/amyloidosis clinic. This rotation focuses on delivery of pharmacist care services. Core pharmacist care services include comprehensive medication management for new start chemotherapies, chemotherapy monitoring, supportive care and/or symptom management (e.g. consults), navigation of specialty medication access issues, oral chemotherapy management, transitional care departmental initiatives, and documentation in the electronic health record.
