Rotation Description:
ID Consult Rotation: Residents receive training focused on pharmacotherapy of infectious diseases through participation on the ID consult service. Residents gain experience applying principles of antimicrobial therapy for a variety of infectious disease states.
Antimicrobial Stewardship Program (ASP) Rotation: Residents receive training in the foundations of antimicrobial stewardship through participation in the UNC Medical Center ASP. Residents gain experience applying principles of antimicrobial stewardship best practices.
