Rotation Description
This is a 4 week rotation focusing on compliance and regulatory of controlled substances for the locations we serve (inpatient, clinic and retail settings). Rotation activities will mirror the preceptor’s practice, involving compliance and investigations concerning controlled substances utilizing pharmacy data analytics for designated locations within the system. The rotation will primarily focus on understanding the current state and federal laws pertaining to controlled substances. Preceptees will work with team members in the compliance and surveillance space to foster accountability and partner with site leadership on CS initiatives to improve upon current processes in place to prevent diversion.
