Why UNC

I chose to further my training at UNC because their Pharmacotherapy program offers the unique opportunity for me to pursue several interest areas, including internal medicine, infectious disease, and psychiatry, while developing into a well-rounded clinical pharmacist that can practice in a wide range of specialties. At UNC, I have the privilege to train under a network of highly motivated pharmacists that are committed to providing excellent patient care. I wanted to challenge myself to practice at the top of my license, and I feel that the preceptors and leadership at UNC go above and beyond to make this possible. Not only does UNC’s program align with my professional goals, but it also resonates with my personal values. During my residency search, I was immediately drawn to the positive energy of the current residents. This kind of team culture that emphasizes collaboration, compassion, and support is ultimately what made me eager to join the UNC community, and I've felt at home since the moment I got here. I feel incredibly fortunate to be a part of such a large family of incredibly caring, genuine, and passionate individuals.
