Why UNC

I chose UNC because I knew it was a place where I would be challenged, supported, and valued. During recruitment, I was interested in the various clinical rotation experiences, innovative flipped research model, and extensive leadership and research opportunities that UNC had to offer. However, what impressed me the most was the unwavering support and encouragement of the preceptors, mentors, and pharmacy leadership. I continue to be inspired every day by UNC's dedicated group of preceptors and commitment to pharmacy education. I truly feel that everyone here is passionate about my growth as a resident and my future goals as a clinical pharmacist. Last but certainly not least, I could not imagine the year ahead without the strong sense of community among my co-residents. I immediately knew that they would be there for me through all of my successes and challenges, and that has already proven to be true in the time we've known each other. I am so grateful to be a part of this program, and I am confident that choosing UNC was the right decision for me.
