Why UNC

One of the many reasons I chose to pursue a residency with UNC Medical Center is because I felt an immediate connection with the program's values and culture, which align closely with my own personal and professional ambitions. The warm welcome I received from both program leaders and current residents reaffirmed my decision, making me feel at home in a supportive and collaborative learning environment. Additionally, I highly value the program's legacy of forward-thinking pharmacy and the opportunity it offers for comprehensive pharmacy leadership training, which will prepare me for a variety of pharmacy leadership roles post-residency. Another highlight of this program for me is the strong clinical training provided in the first year of the combined PGY-1/2 HSPAL program. This is something I deeply appreciate, as it provides an opportunity for me to build a solid foundation as a clinical pharmacist. My move to North Carolina has been seamless due to the support from this residency program and the robust resident orientation during the summer. I am beyond excited to be completing my residency with UNC!
