Why UNC

I chose UNC for its ongoing commitment to advancing pharmacy practice by developing skilled, compassionate clinical pharmacists. The PGY1 program offers robust clinical rotation experiences to facilitate my professional growth within a challenging yet supportive environment. At UNC, pharmacist expertise is sought out, and I feel valued within interdisciplinary patient care teams. Outside of the medical center, residents are integrated within UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy as mentors and educators. During my interview, I was excited by how invested UNC was towards resident success and wellbeing - and that feeling has never faded. It is such a privilege to work alongside of UNC's extraordinary preceptors, administrators, and my co-residents every day!
