Why UNC

I was initially drawn to UNC because of the progressive environment in which pharmacists are allowed to practice and the diverse adult and pediatric clinical experiences offered to residents. During the interview process, I felt reassured by the level of support and investment offered to residents, both within and outside the hospital. I was highly intentional in finding the best fit, and UNC possesses element that aligns with both my short- and long-term goals. With an interest in academia, the affiliation with UNC's Eshelman School of Pharmacy allows additional teaching and mentorship opportunities to further sharpen these skills. I immediately knew UNC was the best place to foster my clinical growth, helping me become the best version of myself as a future clinician and preceptor to learners. Co-residents, preceptors, and pharmacy staff have been incredibly welcoming, making this transition extremely rewarding.
