Why UNC
I chose UNC because I wanted a residency program that was dedicated to training well-rounded, caring, and collaborative clinicians. UNC’s numerous rotation experiences across the inpatient and outpatient settings, partnership with the school of pharmacy, and dedication to community outreach provide multiple avenues to develop clinical abilities while becoming a more culturally competent clinician and educator. As a student at UNC, I was also able to witness the community and support that UNC offers for residents. Preceptors and pharmacy leadership residents are truly invested in resident well-being and success of each resident. I feel inspired to grow as a person each day and it is and It is an honor to train alongside such supportive co-residents and preceptors.
