Additional Program Description

Thank you for your interest in the PGY1 Ambulatory Care Track Residency at UNC Medical Center. We are excited that you are considering joining the UNC family, as well as our long and rich tradition of residency training and clinical excellence.

Our program develops well-rounded clinicians, with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to define excellence in pharmacy practice and prepare the learner to stand out in a PGY2 residency or a career in clinical pharmacy. Our goal is to provide you with the experience necessary to practice in a wide variety of clinical pharmacy sites at the highest possible level; to be a trailblazer in the profession, the community, and your practice setting; and to be a teacher and mentor that inspires and empowers the next generation of pharmacists.
